Campsite near Lake Monteynard
Just 20 minutes from Le Champ Long campsite, Lac de Monteynard-Avignonet is a real gem in the Alps. With its turquoise waters, spectacular scenery and famous Himalayan footbridges, it’s an excursion not to be missed during your stay in Isère!
A paradise for nature lovers and thrill-seekers
Created by an EDF dam, the lake stretches for almost 10 km, bordered by wooded cliffs and wild spaces. Here you can:
– swim in clear water (in season),
– paddle, windsurf or kite-surf,
– embark on a mini-cruise in an electric boat,
– or simply lie in the sun with a book in hand.
But what makes the site unique are the two suspended footbridges over 100 m long, accessible via a family hike that offers breathtaking views. Kids love it, and parents too!
