One of the jewels of the Matheysine. The lake is surrounded by lawns and has a sandy area for children to play beach games. The tree-lined banks provide shade in midsummer. There’s also a path for a short stroll around the lake and along the river.
The Valbonnais waterfalls

Located in the heart of the Ecrins National Park, the Pisse and Confolens waterfalls are awe-inspiring at 80 metres high. You can admire the Pisse waterfall on a family hike from Le Désert-en-Valjouffrey. The Confolens waterfall can be reached on foot or by car via a narrow forest road from the village of Périer.
